Expert panel discussion on new circular solutions for advancing food system sustainability.

Expert panel discussion on new circular solutions for advancing food system sustainability. This panel is for innovators, policymakers, and world leaders in agriculture. Together we will explore the transformative potential of precision fermentation in enhancing food system sustainability, and dive into how the efficient use of materials in closed cycles can reduce waste and land use, improve food and nutrition security, and minimize the environmental impact of food systems while creating new business opportunities for farmers.
The objective is to highlight advancements in sustainable and circular solutions and showcase the role of the circular bioeconomy across different regions. This discussion aims to foster a deeper understanding of precision fermentation and the potential of agriculture and forestry residues in creating a sustainable and secure food future.
Key topics to be discussed include the transformation of food and nutrition security through precision fermentation for a safe and sustainable future. Other aspects are new business opportunities through the valorisation of under-used feedstocks for farmers and foresters, precision fermentation as an example of technological advancements with reduced environmental impact, and product market access and consumer preferences in specific regions.
