Young Farmers’ Forum

The International Meeting of Young Farmers

The International Young Farmers’ Forum (YFF) brings together young farmers from all continents. The young farmers are a great asset to the GFFA, since they can actively contribute the experiences gained on their own farms or from their work in national farming organizations. Their role is decisive in shaping the global food supply of the future. The YFF and the GFFA offer them the opportunity to be heard at international level.

Participants are selected in cooperation with the World Farmers’ Organization (WFO).

The event only addresses invited young farmers and is therefore not open to the public.

In 2021 the YFF was held for the 5th time and brought together 22 young farmers. Having had an in-depth exchange about their experience in several online meetings they drew up their own statement on the GFFA subject, which includes their demands with respect to agricultural policy.

This statement was presented to the agriculture ministers’ conference by two representatives of the group on Friday 22nd January.
